I found the tail feather of a hawk. was this a good omen for my mom.?

I have always seen alot of wildlife in odd areas, 2 coyotes , 1 in my back yard and one outside in a field. I have also seen alot of foxes and one year eve a raccoon this not usual because i live in a residential area where my neighbor is 10 ft away.. But the most interesting thing I have seen was ahawk family on my moms front lawn . It was kind of odd because they actually let me watch them for awhile and then flew to a nearby tree almost like they werent afraid of me. Then shortly after I found one in the tree in my yard. I was again surprised because even though my dogs were going crazy it didnt seem to care. Then few weeks later my gogs had a coyote trapped under my deck. My dogs my protectors eventually scared it away, but I was none the less shocked to see it in my small yard. Then shortly after that I went to my moms and found the tail feather of Hawk on her wheelchair ramp. I have heard from some people that maybe I am being sent a message. my question is what that might be and if it is me or my mom they are sending it too.
