How do you cope with the New Hatred?

Yes ; why so much hatred ? I grew up in the 60 ties ; and everyone was minding their own business and people had empathy and sympathy for each other ; but now its like ;; lets punish ; even double punish a person for the slightness thing ; and lets put them in jail for stealing a candy and bully everyone until they take their life . Values ; morals and spirituality had been thrown in the garbage by parents and politicians ; and here the good and super nice result
