What does Bipolar 2 with rapid cycling mean?

Hi guys.How are you all?I am 23 years old and live in Scotland. My diagnosis was recently changed from Bipolar 2 to Bipolar 2 with rapid-cycling. I am no on Lithium.Since i was first diagnosed with BP2 about a year and a half ago i have had four hypomanic episodes and four major depressive episodesI have never had a full blown manic episode so i am not Bipolar 1.Does rapid cycling mean that i experience hypomania and depression quicker than a normal Bipolar sufferer?Thanks for your time.
